The Organizers of the IOS 2020 conference Committee are now calling for papers for the forthcoming special issue of the Photonics Letters of Poland (PLP) devoted to Integrated Optics - Sensors, Sensing Structures and Methods (to be published in June 2020).
The Photonics Letters of Poland journal is included in the list of scored ranked journals
(40 points) of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in Poland. 
PLP ( http://photonics.pl/PLP ) is an open-access e-Journal indexed by in major scientific databases, including Scopus and Web of Science Emerging Sources Citation Index, and published by the Photonics Society of Poland and co-sponsored by SPIE, appearing in the form of short (up to 3 pages-long) peer-review letters. It was launched at the beginning of 2009 and up to date 44 issues, covering topical areas of optics, optoelectronics and photonics, have been published. Since 2009 PLP has becoming well recognized in Poland and worldwide.

 

The deadlines related to the publication of the special issue of PLP dedicated to Integrated Optics - Sensors, Sensing Structures and Methods are established as follows:

- May 15, 2020: end of papers submission via PLP website

(http://photonics.pl/PLP/index.php/letters/about/submissions) and start of the peer-review of the papers

- June 10, 2020: end of the peer-review of the papers

- June 20, 2020: end of the proof-reading of the papers after revisions

- June 30, 2020: publication of the special issue.

 

Please note that the papers submitted to PLP should be written in English.

The length of the manuscript should be kept within 3 pages. The submitted manuscripts should be prepared strictly according to the guidelines presented in the template
http://photonics.pl/PLP/PLP_Template.doc ). Please note that the average (and expected) number of published letters per issue is 15.

 

Submissions should be performed on-line. Registration / login to the PLP system is required to submit papers online and to check the status of active submissions.
